Why First-Class Communication is the Key to Your Selling Success

Why First-Class Communication is the Key to Your Selling Success

In this two-minute read, we share why it’s so important that the agent you work with to sell your property takes communication seriously and has a plan in place.

One of the most common complaints about estate agents from clients is that they don’t communicate enough.

This is a fundamental error, and to be honest, it simply comes down to the agent’s enthusiasm and organisation.

Good communication and ongoing dialogue are crucial throughout the sales process. And that’s why we take it so seriously and have a system in place to ensure our sellers and buyers are kept well informed and updated.

It could be giving you constructive feedback from a viewer, an update from a solicitor, or letting you know contracts have been exchanged. Whatever the reason, it’s crucial, and only fair, that you are kept regularly informed.

One Size Doesn’t Fit All

You wouldn’t choose a restaurant where you were only offered one choice of meal, would you?

So why settle for less than having your preferred method of communication be used by the estate agent you instruct to sell your property?

When we work with a client, the first thing we do is a lot more listening than talking.

We carry out an onboarding session where we listen to their plans, answer any questions they may have, and learn how they like to be contacted.

In keeping with our Premium Bespoke Marketing Method, we tailor our communications around our client.

Some people prefer to be called on their mobile phones.

Others like to receive text or What’s App messages, and we can leave voice messages on these platforms if that’s more convenient for our clients.

Email updates are always popular, as are our video message updates.

And mixing the old with the new, we’re more than happy to communicate via Zoom or have a face to face chat over a cuppa.

Addressing that complaint at the top of this article at Sure Sales and Lettings, we always get back to people quickly.
